Sounds Good is a weekly music show by RT Projects https://www.rtprojects.org.uk, a charity founded by former teachers Beano and Emma. RT Projects aim to help people who are enduring poor mental health to live a full life. Music, of course, can play a big role in that and that is what Sounds Good is about. To be invited to play one’s music in such an event is a bit more than an honour and I was extremely humbled and excited all at once when Steve asked me to take part.
Sounds Good is on every Thursday, Beano, Joe Ramsey (a talented musician who occasionally performs too) and Steve Pledger join to present the event. I believe that this is more than what I described above. It will be my first live show and an opportunity for me to get back into live performance after the collateral damages of life during covid to my vocals. Although not completely recovered, my voice has felt muffled for too long or just wants out, just like probably all the people stuck at home in one place, proverbially or physically/geographically. What better event could it have been than a Sounds Good session? So huge thanks to the organiser for having me.
Don’t hesitate to message me on Facebook or Twitter for a link to the Zoom session.
