Band on the wall welcomed one of Martin Sutton’s workshops, a day in which songwriters had the opportunity to hear about the experiences of an experienced colleague, the lessons he learnt and the advice he had, from song writing to everything else that takes it to the audience.
There was a lot of information but no feeling of being overwhelmed because of the way it was all presented. There were also “hands”-on exercises including collaboration activities but most of all the opportunity to meet some wonderful people such as Eliza, Lily Louche who totally get the drift of wanting to change the world for the better one song at a time.
Lily Louche in all her imagery calls my voice Green & Black’s Maya Gold. Now that is one that I have not heard before 🙂
